The March 2026 update of the Tournament opening book is now available for subscribers to download:

You will need your login details to access the book updates. These were emailed to you immediately after your purchase of the opening book subscription.
The Tournament book includes opening theory from games up to end March 2026. The tournament book also includes new theory created by very strong computers and we have raised the threshold for game inclusion which has resulted in a stronger book and higher average Elo content in the book.
The unzip password for the March 2026 CTG book called Hiarcs15xBook is “Jury3solo!shieLds153”.
The new Tournament book now has over 33.6 million positions with latest theory from computer, correspondence and over the board play.
The new downloadable Tournament book is called "Hiarcs15xBook" and comes in CTG (for HIARCS Chess Explorer Pro and Chessbase customers), HCS (engine book) and HBG (iPad/iPhone) formats.
When using the CTG book in Fritz GUIs you should open the Book Options and select Optimise (and change "Up to move" to 64 if you want deep variations).
