alone.
Before your feet
could find the earth,
Love
had already bent low enough
to hold you.
It steadied your trembling.
Lifted you
when strength was still
only a promise.
Fed you
before you knew
the name for hunger.
Healed you
before you understood
what healing was.
And still—
how easily we forget
the hands
that have carried us
all along. | | We imagine
we have wandered beyond
the reach of mercy.
We fear
our failures
will finally become
greater
than Love itself.
But listen—
the heart of God
does not harden
the way ours sometimes does.
It breaks open.
Not with vengeance,
but with compassion.
Not with rejection,
but with remembrance.
